Love going to Lori's. Her daughter Jessica usually cuts my hair and does a great job. I have had several different styles and a variety of colors services with NO complains. She always does a fantastic job. I won't go anywhere else. Mary has also cut my hair when Jessica is out and Mary does a wonderful job also. I would recommend them. The only negative is they are not open on Monday but they are worth the wait.
I have been a customer for more years than I would like to admit. I have always received quality haircuts and color. The ladies there, Lori, Mary, and Jessica, are very warm, welcoming, and friendly. Sometimes when I am a little short on cash, they let me "slide until next time".
I love this place. The girls here are great and the shop is always inviting. Nothing but good to say about the work and services provided.
I have been to Lori's many times mostly for trims/cuts and she does fine with these but I have been to her about two or three times for hair color and not once have I been completely satisfied with her. She seems to use short cuts with respects to jobs that require more time such as perms/colors. I just gave her one last chance for the last time this past week. I made it clear to her this time that I was dissatisfied with the color but she took my money anyway and tried to convince me it was what I wanted and stated, it will lighten up after two or three washings. Well its been two or three washings and nothings changed. I gave her a pic of Brittany Murphy's hair died two different shades of red with sharp blonde highlights in it. I got great red but no blonde highlights. I am in the process of asking around to see if the way she did my hair was the correct way as she is known in my opinion with respects to coloring to take short cuts. What she did was put the red dyes on first all over my hair and immediately after foiled what was supposed to be blonde into sections of my hair. With all the three different colors in my hair at the same time one on top of the other none of the blonde came out. I believe the proper way to have done it would have been to dye the reds in, let sit, wash the reds out and then foil in the blonde. If anyone knows the correct way please let me know. In the past I have gone to her simply because of convenience and she does cut hair well plus she is reasonable with costs. "But what good is lower cost if you aren't getting what you asked for. Keep in mind customers....you get what you pay for. The lower the price the less satisfied you'll be. There was one time while she was coloring my hair she commented, this is a new brand of color, its great because it takes half the time to color hair, she was right, the time was cut in half but my price went up. Funny how that works. Just seems difficult now days to find a stylist who really listens and cares about what you want. I plan on going elsewhere to get the blonde highlights put in correctly. Will cost me extra but will be well worth it. She has made good money off of me and I always tip her well too just don't understand why a regular, good paying customer would be treated so poorly. I'll cut my losses and pay more to have it done right elsewhere from now on.
